The latest cria born at Alpacas at Crossroads Ranch brought our herd size to 85 huacaya alpacas. This little guy was born the day before Halloween on October 30th, 2010. He was small at 12 lbs, but has reached 14.6 lbs as of today, November 10. He's full of spunk and keeps up with the bigger babies born before him.
We're waiting for him to be named by my friend, who's the namesake of the dam, Barbara Marie. We'll post after it's decided.
Update: Here's two more peeks at our smallest alpaca. He keeps up with his bigger friend, Tatiana, born a week before him...
